In the same year, Midea also acquired two other famous Chinese enterprises: Hefei Royalstar and Guangzhou Hualing, enhancing the market competitiveness of refrigerators and washing machines, and forming the largest home appliance product group of air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines.

Based on the current and largest refrigerator supply chain in China, it has constructed a large supply chain of washing machines, which achieved sales revenues exceeding 25.6 billion RMB in 2006.

Presently, Midea Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Group has implemented a new “353 strategy”, which strives to achieve sales revenues exceeding 50billionRMB in 2010.
