Midea Refrigeration Equipment won the 2007 China Quality Award announced at the end of November 2007.

China Quality Award is the highest award in the quality management fieldarea in China. The award was set up in 2001 and the aim of it is to encourage those companies which to perform do excellent works in the quality management and to prevailhave also obtained big economic and social benefits. The award is released each year. Seven companies won this year's award and Midea is the only one from the home appliance industry.

Midea has been doing well in both the domestic and international market in recent years. It has been paying great attention to improve the internal management to make its products more competitive.

Officialsers from Midea said that winning the China Quality Award indicated that Midea's work had been recognized by the society. However, the company would keep on improving the quality management to make Midea a leading brand throughout the world.
